The second chapter of the living novel consists of Madame Chose’s story.

Madame Chose is a composer and is incarnated by composer and pianist Tatjana Zivanovic-Wegele.

She grants her friend Madame Magritte a favor and composes a song for her. On her search for the key to her music she gets lost more and more in the depth of the Cabinet des Arts. Madame Chose has a good friend who helps her with this great task: her grand piano. It is a very special piano. It remembers, in its fantastic way, every composition and finds, like Madame Chose herself, no end. At the premier of this performance and throughout the duration of the exhibition the first part of Madame Margritte’s song was created.

Madame Chose lets herself be carried away by her music and adds more and more variations to the song. The pieces that have been created throughout the performance her piano repeats independently. Madame Chose and her piano play Madame Magritte’s song together. Every time she finds new keys to her music, but every

time also a new door that needs to be opened.
